Celebrating a Milestone: Yunus Ahmed Becomes the Second Hifz Graduate of Melbourne Hifz

At just 13 years old, Yunus Ahmed has achieved an extraordinary milestone — the memorisation of the entire Qur’an in 5 years, Alhamdulillah, Yunus has now officially become the Second Hifz Graduate of Melbourne Hifz, a historic and blessed moment for him, his family, and the entire community.

A Journey of Dedication and Perseverance

Yunus’s achievement did not come overnight. It is the fruit of his unwavering dedication, countless hours of consistent effort, and the steadfast guidance of his Ustadhs. Behind this remarkable accomplishment also stands the constant support, encouragement, and sacrifice of his family — who walked alongside him on every step of this journey.

An Inspiration for the Community

By completing the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an at such a young age, Yunus has set a shining example for his peers and the wider community. His journey is a reminder of what can be achieved when perseverance, sincerity, and reliance upon Allah ﷻ come together.

This moment is not only a personal triumph for Yunus but also a milestone for Melbourne Hifz as we continue to nurture the next generation of Huffaz. His success strengthens our vision of creating an environment where children can connect deeply with the Qur’an and carry its light into their lives and communities.

We humbly make dua that Allah ﷻ preserves Yunus’s memorisation, blesses him with deep understanding of the Qur’an, and allows him to live by its teachings in both word and action. May Allah ﷻ make him a source of guidance and inspiration for others, and among the leaders of this Ummah. Ameen.

On behalf of the Melbourne Hifz family, we congratulate Yunus Ahmed and his family on this remarkable achievement. May Allah continue to bless our students, teachers, and community with barakah and success in their Qur’an journeys.
