A LITTLE BIT
ABOUT OUR
VISION
“A Qur’an education organisation dedicated to developing the next generation through structured Islamic learning, character development and spiritual growth, empowering young people to become confident, responsible and positive contributors to Australian society.”
Built on extensive academic insight and a deep understanding of the contemporary educational landscape, founder Rizbie Yunus established Melbourne Hifz to serve the Victorian Muslim community with distinction. Under the guidance of our Head Teacher, Sheikh Abdulrahman, our institution sets a new benchmark for premium Islamic education by moving far beyond basic, repetitive rote memorisation. Instead, we prioritize the holistic development of young learners, empowering students with absolute linguistic ownership and authentic mastery over the language of the Holy Quran.
By actively rejecting standard repetition-only frameworks, our leading educators cultivate profound Quranic literacy, technical fluency, and spiritual reverence. We transform the learning journey into an engaging, multi-sensory process that ensures deep comprehension alongside precise retention. Through this unwavering dedication to educational excellence, we provide a structured, premium environment where Melbourne's youth thrive academically while building a genuine, lifelong love for the Quran.
Narrated `Uthman bin `Affan: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most superior among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

Sahra Mohamed
Hafidah | Girls Teacher
I completed my Hifz in 2017 and am currently enrolled in a Tajweed program to further refine my Qur’an recitation. This ongoing study allows me to strengthen my understanding of correct pronunciation and articulation, and to identify and rectify any errors, ensuring that they are not perpetuated in my own recitation or passed on to others.
In addition to my Qur’anic studies, I am currently undertaking a double degree at university, studying for a Bachelor of Nursing and a Bachelor of Psychological Science. Balancing both academic and Islamic studies has reinforced the importance of discipline, sincerity, and lifelong learning in my personal and professional development.
Maintaining a strong connection with the Qur’an is a central part of my life, and I am deeply committed to continuing its study and teaching it in a manner that is beneficial, accurate, and impactful — both for others and for myself. It would be a profound honour to inspire and guide the next generation of Hafidhahs, supporting them in expanding their knowledge and confidence so that they, in turn, may become teachers and role models within their communities.
