On Saturday, 19th July 2025 at Epping Memorial Hall, the Melbourne Hifz community came together for a truly inspiring and heartfelt event — the Mid Year Melbourne Hifz Graduation Ceremony. Held in a spirit of joy, reflection, and gratitude, this special occasion honoured the achievements of our young Quran reciters and  memorisers, their families, and the dedicated teachers who guided them on their journey

A Celebration of Commitment and Perseverance

The ceremony marked the culmination of months — and in many cases, years — of intense dedication, discipline, and love for the Quran. Our graduating students were celebrated not only for the number of pages memorised but for embodying the values of patience, resilience, and adab throughout their journey. The stage, beautifully decorated thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers, created the perfect backdrop for a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and unity.

Guests were treated to heartfelt Quran recitations by students of all levels — from beginners reciting with confidence to graduates delivering flawless passages from memory. Each recitation served as a reminder of the power and beauty of the Quran and the divine guidance it offers.

Students were also presented with awards recognising not just academic milestones, but character, consistency, and improvement — values that lie at the heart of our teaching philosophy.

As we look to the future, we ask Allah ﷻ to accept the efforts of our students, parents, and teachers. May He preserve the Quran in the hearts of our graduates, bless their knowledge, and allow them to be lights in their families and communities.

An event of this magnitude would not have been possible without the support of our incredible volunteers and community members. From setting up the venue and preparing food, to managing logistics and welcoming guests, every hand that helped contributed to the day’s success.

Beyond the awards, this event reminded us that Melbourne Hifz is more than just a madrasa — it is a family. A place where students are nurtured spiritually and emotionally, where mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities, and where love for the Quran is cultivated in every heart.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan to everyone who made this event possible. May Allah continue to bless our community with sincerity, unity, and barakah.
